About Me

As a George Washington University senior from Nashville, Tennessee, studying in the School of Media and Public Affairs, I am deeply committed to pursuing a career in journalism. I chose to study Journalism & Mass Communications at George Washington University because I knew it was the best program and location to prepare me for the competitive field of journalism. Through coursework, I have developed  strong writing, reporting, and multimedia skills essential for a successful career in journalism.

The opportunity to amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard drives my passion for journalism. As a journalist, I see myself as a storyteller, a conduit for sharing stories that matter to people and communities. Whether it's covering social justice issues, cultural events, or politics, I am always looking for ways to tell stories that shed light on important topics and make a difference in people's lives.
